Came the day. And the best of the first DC FanDome appeared at the end with the first and long-awaited trailer for movie “The Batman”, which is a reboot of the famous DC character that is now played by Robert Pattinson under the direction of Matt Reeves, who sought to give it a new and dark turn to the Dark Knight and even to Gotham.
This is the first trailer, it is set to music by a dark version of Nirvana’s ‘Something in the way’, lets us see the eccentric and lonely Bruce Wayne in a tormented facet in which he seems to seek revenge.

As we see in this first trailer, the dark and bleak aesthetic does not fail, in fact, Pattinson’s expression of pain could be something he likes or not, but it is in tune with what is shown in the trailer.
Another important detail is that small sample of violence, which could be a clue that we will see that extreme and sometimes uncontrolled Batman from the darkest era of the character.
Of the few details that were released, is that ‘The Batman’ will be set in a different universe, so it will not be related to the current DC Universe.
The film began filming in January 2020, but was suspended in March due to the pandemic. This will resume on September 1st 2020.
Despite this, ‘The Batman’ maintains its release date for October 1, 2021. And as we have already seen, we will have the presence of several well-known villains and characters, and the truth is, it does not look bad at all.
