SALIU PLAYED HOST TO EPE DIVISION BODY OF PERMANENT SECRETARIES

It was a moment of joy and celebration today, as Hon. Adeniyi Saliu, the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area played host to the Epe Division Body of Permanent Secretaries, at his office after which he led the team, members of Eredo cabinet and some party stalwart, on a solidarity visit to the Palace of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, The Alara of Ilara (Telade IV).

Mrs. Deile Helen Morenike, Auditor General & P. S. Office of Auditor General, who also doubles as Chairperson of the Body for Epe Division, in her opening remarks congratulated the new Paramount ruler of Epe Division and Permanent Vice Chairman, Council of Obas, Lagos State, Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, Alara of Ilara and assured Kabiesi of their continuous support.

Mrs. Deile beseeched the Kabiesi to chat a new course for development and growth of Epe Division in collaboration with other Obas and senior citizens from the division.

Hon. Adeniyi Saliu, the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area, in his speech at the event commended the Body of Permanent Secretaries for being great ambassadors and for their commitment towards the development and welfare of our people in Epe division.

In his response, His Majesty Oba Ogunsanwo expressed delight at the visit of the Permanent Secretaries, he thanks for the enormous support, goodwill and solidarity shown him by the Permanent Secretaries and the entire people of the division.

Oba Ogunsanwo also used the opportunity to task the Body of Permanent Secretaries on employment of our teeming youth, Skills Acquisition and infrastructural development of the division. He said doing these will help curb insecurities, restiveness and other social vises among the youth.

The Eredo government under the administration of Hon. Adeniyi Saliu presented letter of appreciation and certificate of commendation and honour to all the ten (10) members of Epe Division body of Permanent Secretaries, in recognition of their tireless efforts and valuable roles in building a better Eredo and Epe Division.

It would be recalled that the Body of Permanent Secretaries from Epe division donated blood screening machines to Epe General Hospital few months ago while some also contributed cash for provision of palliatives for Eredo people during Covid-19 pandemic.

The permanent Secretaries are Mrs. Deile Morenike, Auditor General. Mrs. Solar in Titilayo, Tutor General & P. S. District. Arc. Ripe Adebayo, P. S. Ministry of Physical Planning & Urban Development. Mrs. Adekanye Elizabeth, P. S. Ministry of Home Affairs. And Dr. Onasanya Olayiwole, P. S. Ministry of Agric.

Others are Mr. Ogunnubi Olukayode, P. S. Civil Service Pension Office. Mr. Ogundeko Sesan P. S. Audit Service Commission. Mrs Fadipe Sinatu, P. S. LASIEC. Mr. Musa Olawale, P. S. Office of the Chief of Staff and Dr. Muritala Abiodun, Accountant General & P. S. State Treasury Office. The Permanent Secretaries made a presentation of a large picture portrait to Kabiyesi to congratulate him on the ascension of the throne of his forefathers.

Also in attendance were Chief S.O Bakare Oluwalogbon, the APC leader in Epe Constituency II, Hon. Wasiu Odeyemi. APC State Welfare Officer, Alhaja Bankole Abiodun and the APC LGA Chairman, Alhaji Agbaraojo.

The Council was well represented at event having Hon. W. Taiwo the Vice Chairman, Hon. Wale Salau and other Executive members and Hon. Lateef Okesanya the Leader of the Legislative House with Hon. Janet Adebambo, the Chief Whip of the House.
