Nigerian Youngster Ebenezer Akinsanmiro Joins Inter Milan

Nigerian Premier League Young midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro Joins Inter Milan on 4 a Year Contract from Remo Stars

The 18 years old Nigeria midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro was born on the 25th of November, 2004.

He is 1.69m tall, he plays the position of an attacking midfielder, he has linked up with Serie A star club Inter Milan from Nigeria Premier Football League club, Remo Stars.

Ebenezer is an academy product of Remo Star. He signed a four-year deal with the Serie A club, who beat off competition from Real Madrid, Benfica and Hammarby to secure his signature.

Remo confirmed the move on their website on Wednesday 1st of February. “Midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has completed his move to Italian star club Inter Milan.

The teenager, who is an academy product of the club, has signed a four-year deal.

He was part of the team that helped Remo Stars gain promotion from the Nigeria National League to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in the 2020/2021 season,” the club statement read in part.

Akinsanmiro featured prominently for the academy team, Beyond Limits, in The Creative Championship and Viareggio Cup World Football Tournament.

A scout, who has been following Akinsamiro keenly, took to his twitter page via @Halis9723 to describe the qualities of the player.

He also featured for the club in the 2022 NPFL season when they finished third and played on the continent. The 18 year old player penned a four-years contract with the Nerazzurri.

Akinsanmiro has joined the list of Nigerian players, who featured for Inter Milan. The likes of Nwankwo Kanu, Taribo West, Obafemi Martins, Obinna Nsofor, Joel Obi and Obiora Nwankwo were once in the books of the Italian club.


The talented midfielder was a product of Remo Stars’ academy team, Beyond Limits. Akinsanmiro was part of the Sky Blue Stars side that gained promotion to the NPFL in the 2020/21 season.

He also featured for the Ikenne club last season. Inter Milan are very happy to have him in there squad.
